The purpose of the program is for girls to have a safe and nurturing space to share in their common experiences, and to discuss the physical, social, and emotional changes girls begin to experience during these middle school years. It aims to prepare girls and to provide them with the tools to deal with the many social and societal challenges that face them today. It features guest speakers and activities designed to provide positive female role models and to build self-confidence.
